Mobility Of Staff

The staff’s learning mobility has a key role in reaching the success of Senior Plus, as well as in the creation of transferable results. The “job shadowing”  allowed not only the creation of the conditions for a quality support of seniors but it also outlined a new specialised figure that guide and accompany seniors through their active ageing. Within the partnership, different levels of mutual knowledge and experience in common work have been analysed. It has been considered that a period of mutual training through job shadowing of personnel within the consortium would be very useful to sustain common work within Senior Plus and for the preparation of international mobility of seniors.
The staff involved in mobility had the possibility to see the local opportunities for senior voluntary work. They also met the candidates for voluntary work in their own country, creating a bond of trust with the participants before they arrive.
