OBJECTIVES:
To know how to name competencies, have an overview of the competency framework present in the webpage, improvement of decision-making process, reflection of the flexibility of description and necessity of a framework.
METHODOLOGY:
I have printed out and cut all the competencies mentioned in the e-portfolio. Participants had to sort them attaching to a general ‘competency title’ (general skills in e-portfolio such as communication skills, entrepreneurship and initiative and so on). They had to make decision where to subordinate subtitles, discuss if such skills really exist and discuss the meaning of particular skills present in e-portfolio.
MATERIALS AND RESOURCES NEEDED:
STEP BY STEP PROCESS:
1. Division of materials
2. Explaining tasks
3. Division of subtitles under competency title
4. Discussion on ‘questionable’ skills
5. Comparing the framework subordinated with an original webpage followed by discussion.
OUTCOMES:
Overview of skills in the online portfolio
EVALUATION:
It is a hard task, especially for small group, my participants were tired but satisfied with the amount of knowledge and their ‘lucky’ guesses.
NOTES FOR FURTHER USE:
Big amount of subtitles confuses a little, therefore large support of the facilitators is needed.
